V.20:
A knower of Brahman, who is established in Brahman, should have his/her
intellect steady and should not be deluded. He/she should not get delighted
by what is desirable, nor get dejected by what is undesirable.
V.21: With his/her heart unattached to external objects, he/she gets
the bliss that is in the Self. With his/her heart basorbed in meditation
on Brahman, he/she acquires undecaying bliss.
V.22: Since enjoyments that result from contact (with objects) are
verily the sources of sorrow and have a beginning and an end, (therefore)
O son of Kunti, the wise one does not delight in them.

Summary
of this lecture:
As the Knowledge removes the dross of ignorance, the life starts changing
right here in this life; one does not need to wait till the death. The
purity and perfection of the Truth makes its presence in the actual
life in the form of equanimity of mind in gain or loss; the person does
not get overly joyous even if something pleasant happens or does not
become morose even if something terrible happens. S/he is established
in the Brahman which is equally present in pleasure or pain. Another
expression of the Knowledge is complete lack of craving for pleasure
from the contact with objects or people; this is because the Knowledge
has shown s/he the inexhaustible mine of true happiness within.
The pleasures born out of the contact between the sense & its object
give rise to suffering; seeing this, the wise never indulge in it.
