V.15: The Omnipresent neither accepts anybody's sin nor even virtue. Knowledge remains covered by ignorance. Thereby the creatures become deluded.
V.16: But in case of those of whom that ignorance of theirs becomes destroyed by the knowledge (of the Self), their Knowledge, like the sun, reveals that supreme Reality.
V.17: Those who have their intellect absorbed in That, whose Self is That, who are steadfast in That, who have That as their supreme Goal – they attain the state of non-returning, their dirt having been removed buy Knowledge.

Summary of this lecture:

Bhagavad Gita gives us a way to escape the cycle of birth and death by bringing us knowledge of non-dual existence that is our true nature. Many of us have an image of a God who sits in judgment, and we act morally because we fear punishment from Him. We should give up this idea! God is all-pervading and our innermost Self too! This Knowledge destroys all ignorance and the effects of ignorance vanish too. It is like one sees the rope, the illusion of snake vanishes and with that the fear of the snake too. We must let the thought of God occupy our mind at all times. Only God is real; why waste time thinking of what is not real? Occupying our minds with thoughts of God will not make us distracted or unable to work. On the contrary, by turning our thoughts to God we will be much more efficient at our work because we will be able to separate what is essential from what is nonessential. God is the essential thing in life, since all existence is dependent on Him. The 17th verse shows how the various aspects of our personality are to be trained so that we can see/experience the Truth. It is a beautiful and concise description of the four aspects of Yoga: Yoga of knowledge, of devotion, of concentration and of action.
A couple of beautiful questions were asked at the end and were satisfactorily replied.
