Summary of this lecture:
In our relative world of name and form one must try to think of God by
associating it with its best name – OM. God can really be attained if
one, with concentrated mind, remembers HIM constantly. This must be
done in a disciplined way and for very long time till the ideal is
achieved. People are ready to undertake countless efforts to achieve
worldly objectives. Why not to achieve Supreme Goal of life? They do
not understand the VALUE of it. Lord Himself tells that by realizing
Him one will be completely free from the cycle of birth and death. This
world is nothing but a storehouse of miseries and sufferings. Man tries
to find happiness in the world where it is impossible to find. Once man
realizes this truth he can try to alleviate the sufferings. Due to the
ignorance we try to throw this precious human life at world with
expectations of pleasures and receive blows in return. If we utilize
this rare opportunity of human birth to escape this cycle of birth and
death in this storehouse of suffering and attain the true Bliss then
that is the best use of life. God, out of His great compassion is
telling us the path to reach Him.
